Due to the long power outage yesterday (for the cafe, it was all afternoon from just after lunch to until about 8pm), and despite the most noble efforts of our new generator, we just couldn't keep the fridges cold. The Prairie Croissant Cafe has lost a devastating amount of food- almost everything; we lost our milk and all of our refrigerated food from soup to cheese to meat to eggs. Unfortunately, we have to be closed today and tomorrow to clean everything up, regroup and reorder our stock. Some of our staff will be in, but we will not be open for service. I am so sorry, everyone. We're looking forward to being open first thing Tuesday, as usual, when our new ingredients and food are delivered.
